Fund Raiser for 2010

Our biggest undertaking each year is our Philanthropic Fund Raiser. This year J.A.A.P.A. is having a raffle. The winner will receive a CASH PRIZE of

$250.00 and secondary prizes will be awarded to twelve other winners in the

form of $25.00 gift certificates.

J.A.A.P.A. members will again have tickets for purchase

in February, 2010.

Tickets will be sold until April, 2010.

The drawing for the winner will be

at the Spring Luncheon in April, 2010.

So do not wait.

Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to the Sorority Panhellenic President

woman at Millsaps College. The scholarship is to be applied towards the recipient's tuition and/or books for the year.

The Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) is a private, nonprofit organization partnering with the communities it serves to provide innovative, quality solutions for individuals experiencing intergenerational cycles of abuse. Serving an eight county area in Central Mississippi (Rankin, Madison, Hinds, Simpson, Issaquena, Sharkey, Warren, and Yazoo) since the 1970’s, CVP is committed to providing a continuum of services to address the growing populations of at-risk children and adults in the Central Mississippi area as it offers an alternative to the continuing cycle of violence, abuse, neglect, and related traumas. www.mscvp.org
