The Jackson Area Alumnae Panhellenic Association, J.A.A.P.A., is affiliated with the National Panhellenic conference. The JAAPA offers sorority women a chance to meet each other and become involved in social, educational and philanthropic endeavors. This is a great way to maintain the bonds of sisterhood that you started in college with members of your own sorority, as well as members of other NPC fraternities.
Currently, there are fourteen alumnae groups involved with JAAPA in the Jackson, Mississippi Metro Area. Our biggest undertaking each year is our Philanthropic Fund Raiser.
This year JAAPA is having a raffle. The winner will receive a cash prize of $250.00 and secondary prizes will be awarded to twelve other winners in the form of $25.00 gift certificates. Please contact any JAAPA member to purchase your raffle ticket, NOW. The purpose of this event is to raise money for a non-profit organization and a scholarship awarded to a sorority collegian at Millsaps College.
JAAPA, also works each year to educate high school senior women about sororities and the recruitment (formerly known as RUSH) process. For more recruitment information . . .
